I went to visit some friends of mine in EL last night. We went to rum runners, which was awesome, except for the haze of smoke. I'm still coughing it out. I cant wait till everything finally becomes a smoke free zone. If you want to take yourself down, that's one thing, but please don't drag the rest of the world with you!

This year I've been busy!

In April I caught a purse-snatcher who stole rsd212's purse (30 points). Last week I bought porn for shutupskippy (-10 points). In September I turned cosmic_muffin in for spitting (3 points). In August I helped doomdoomydoom hide a body (-173 points). Last Thursday I bought porn for kiteskitesyay (10 points).

Overall, I've been naughty (-140 points). For Christmas I deserve a lump of coal!

lol. one more week, and im outta here...for a couple of weeks at least. hopefully, ill cya during break, but if i dont, be thankful that you're not exposed to my even more neurotic behavior. [OMG...is that a germ!!!...im totally almost kidding].

nothing new has happened to me. BUT i am a proud owner of a plastic coaster-shaped disk with a uterus imprinted on it...its like a bizarre christmas tree ornament. We use it to practice inserting IUDs. its great fun.

Also, i enjoy biopsying raw turkey meat and then cauterizing it....mm mm good.

Its snowing!

Also, im going to my end of the year class of 09 bar crawl. and we have the awesomest T-shirts, they read: "Ive forgotten more than you'll ever know." omg. it cracked me up.

wow the rain never stops here! I'll be happy to see some sunshine when i get back. But im having fun chilling with my cousins and my aunt. My cousins and I went to one of the malls here...its called "In Orbit". haha. It was cool, but omg, you have never seen so many people, even on the busiest mall day in the US, this just tops everything. But what surprised me the most, was when we were parking, the security people stuck one of those mirrors on a stick under our car to check for bombs. And there was a "bomb sniffing dog" there as well. But he was looking to be very bored as he was lying down hoping for a nap...lol. And they were doing purse checks everywhere. very weird.

I also went to the market with my aunt. It was a very Bazaar-type thing. Where the vendors are lined up outside buildings and have all the veggies/or flowers for poojas/fruits arrayed on carts or in weaved baskets right there on the street. Sometimes they have hung up tarps to keep the rain off. Its very cool. But half the time i had to keep watching the road b/c you have never seen such awful roads in your life.

Im sorry to say that i dont have many pics, b/c its kinda strange to be walking around with a digi cam among people who literally might have to dig through the trash for food. Theres a lot of that around here too. It breaks your heart to see it. The things people do just to get one meal for the day. B/c there's no such thing as minimum wage here. Its all 'every mouth on its own'. And there isnt anything you can really do about it. With the population expanding so much and all. oh well.

my week of vaca was wonderful. went to bbq's, watched fireworks, danced at weddings, saw Pirates and Prada (both are good movies).

And a chipmunk got trapped in my house while my parents were away for the weekend. I spent many minutes trying to chase it with a broom, while my cats waited for me to shake it out of various corners...we're a great, if rather ineffectual team. I left to chill with people, and when i came home, it was perched on the curtain rod in our living room, with my kitties lying in wait at the foot of the window. pictures forthcoming. i laughed soo much. it disappeared for a while, and then miraculously appeared on a rug in our dining room the next day. and i was able to schooch (yes, u heard me, SCHOOCH) it out using a paper bag from the grocery store (so thats why u save them!). but it left a tiny puddle of wee-wee on our kitchen floor. oh well, it has been returned to the wild of the bushes outside our porch. hopefully, it will go on to live a happy and cat-free life.

the moral of the story...im very proud that i was pro-active about the whole rodent thing. not for me the climbing onto the table saying "eeek!"

Summer semester is in full swing! Classes galore! But thats ok. it will all be over soon...only 1.5mo to go!

So ummm, nothing new to report. Im excited to see everyone @ Kelly's wedding. im also excited to see Pirates. arg.

I heart "The Devil Wears Prada"...very good book. i wanna see that movie too...time permiting.

Friday night was great. Kim came up to visit, and we (Jess, Kim, Matt, and I) went to Crunchy's. Matt had gotten there first and had grabbed a booth, but the bouncer wouldnt let the rest of us in! unless three people came out. so strange...but to make up for it, Jess sang karaoke...big yellow taxi. and her mic wouldnt work, so at one point she had both mics to her mouth it was great. But the very very drunk sorority girls behind us had her covered with back up vocals. hilarious.

Then Kim, Jess, and myself went to the drag show. That was fun. lots of costumes and good music.

Then we went to Matt's for some ddr, and office space. and didnt sleep till 4:30am.

And today, Kim and I went to Cosi for breakfast, then Douglas J's for kim's haircut and my manicure. Kim totally looks cute with her new style.

Now its just time to chill out and enjoy my free saturday.

Tea is good. We should all be so fortunate to be able to enjoy a nice cup of orange pekoe. my goodness, i havnt updated in a while. i can honestly say that ive been busier than satan and more productive too. lets see...my life is just one exam after the next. and therefore i have none. but i enjoyed meeting everyone at crunchy's last sat. and i think ill get to see more people in april. im glad that people are able to get me out of my personal library (and by that, i mean my apt...where did all these books come from?).

i had a good holiday season. a wonderful new year. and a great birthday (am now 23, as most of you know). last night, went to beggars for 1/2 off wine night with kevin, crystal, and jess. we were able to polish off two bottles b/w the four of us...good times ensued.

I bought books (early for once) for the new semester, but of course, they didnt have all the ones i needed. b/c that would be like...way too convenient for students, and we dont want that now, do we?

oh well.

yay to being done and being on vaca! Im all booked up these few weeks...as i must see lots of people that ive been either 1.ignoring or 2.well...ignoring would be it i guess. lol.

Anyhow, last night i went to a piano bar in pontiac, called JD's, with some friends from home. It was great, as one of them was back from CA, and i hadnt seen him since this summer. The place was fun as well, but i always like piano bars.

I think on monday, there's some kind of crunchy's thing goin on...any details on that would be great (like times and such).

Im almost done holiday shopping...yay for target. But dear god, i went to Somerset yesterday and holy shit there were wayyy too many people there. I totally got stuck in line trying to leave the parking structure for 30-40 min...i lost track of the time. Everyone is so excited and busy and it just made me exausted looking at them all.

But i did end up with this most wonderful bottle of mint shampoo/conditioner from Aveda. its so nice and tingly. haha.

So, Kim, we should set up lunch or something soon. 'cept not this monday or tuesday. Jess, Crystal, if you're gonna be around here, we need to go and see Narnia or memoirs of a geisha or brokeback mt or something.
